Designer Closet Guys' Wooing Homeowners with Popular "I Hate My Closet Contest"

The 'Designer Closet Guys' (DCG) have been getting a lot of attention from Vancouver homeowners with their increasingly popular "I Hate My Closet Contest".

For the past 4 years, Designer Closet Guys has been giving away the ultimate grand prize - a dream closet makeover complete with exciting sponsor prizes. Last year's prize closet was awarded to a very deserving and grateful homeowner from Surrey, Gail Whitworth. Gail's prize included a $2,250 shopping spree at Seven Oaks shopping centre, paint by Benjamin Moore, consult by Maria Killam, a safe by Abby Locks, and gift certificates from Chatters Salon, Townhall Pub and Ramada. Winners get to participate in the production process which is videotaped from start to finish.

"Our goal with this contest, is to show homeowners how they can reduce stress by de-cluttering and creating a peaceful, organized space," comments Chris Isfeld, founder of DCG. "We want to everyone to consider this approach for every space in their home - from the closet, to the garage to the pantry."

How does the contest work? Contestants must visit the DCG Facebook page Facebook.com/DesignerClosetGuys in order to submit their entry and vote on the best of the worst closets in the area. The contest runs until from late summer to late fall each year.
